Here's the website I was originally working on over the summer. I created the other website that I posted on here for my New Media class. It was just something that I was experimenting with. But this is what I want my portfolio website to look like.

ok!! Here's the text that I have chosen. Which my final animation will be based on. I originally wanted to base it on a poem written by my sister (she's an amazing writer but seems to not realize her talent). She informed me that she doesn't write poems.....whatever.

Anyway, so I went in a different direction since she felt she couldnt (or maybe didn't want to) contribute to my project. sooooo, Im going with a Shel Silverstein Poem instead. I read through my books over break and found many that I could reminisce about. Many emotional, some sad, and tons that were funny that I was constantly reading to Rose and Caroline!!!

Here's the one that I chose...

SOOOOOO BEHIND!!!!!! AHHHHHH!!!!

WEll!! I am completely behind, especially on this blog! No excuses except for the fact that I've abandoned it completely for the past couple weeks. Im also behind on my final animation project :( so much going on and so little time. I had this entire weekend to work on stuff, well, a few hours outside of black friday weekend at American Eagle. However, I chose to relax instead of working on my project! And although Im sure I need this relaxation, I really don't have time for it and I suffer when I do relax. But I've found sleep to be soooo tempting at any moment that I take a break. And I also find that I sleep instead of having a social life! lol. I know Im not the only one, but I feel guilty at times that I abandon my friends. Oh well, school and work comes first. It will pay off in the end. Oh, Did I mention that I also have to redo my first flash animation and finish my website! blah! well, off to work i go!!

FLASH!!! OMG!!! so, I stayed up all night working on this flash animation. Which is supposed to be about our personal logos. Well, first of all, my website that I just did for this class didn't really have a personal logo but more of a title. So, thats was I incorporated into my flash. It's not really a personal logo, but at least it matches the website!!! It took me a little while to get everything done for it, well, up to this point. It's not done and not perfect by any means. But it will do for now. It's definately something I need to work on and improve, but I wanted to get my basic understanding of it down first. Now I need to think of something to do for my professional website, which DOES have a personal logo.

YAY!! Almost done! lol. well, kind of. The basic design of my website is finished. But there's plenty more experimenting to be done with this one. Im excited that this website is completely different than my other one. I think what I might ultimately do is use this one for my scrapbooking site (it's very reminiscent of my scrapbook style). And use the other website for my design related elements. Although there's definitely things that still need to be changed and updated, im so excited with how it's coming so far.
